About me
Email: chloestarlingart[at]outlook.com
I've created comics for several years, placing the many stories bouncing around in my head onto the page. In 2020, I won the Manga Jiman Award with my entry on that year’s theme, ‘technology’.

I also co-founded and co-organised inQ! London’s Queer Comic Fair. In 2024, the fair took place at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre on the South Bank and had over 800 visitors. We are currently planning more events, and plan to organise another fair in 2026.

Stories inspired by fantasy, folklore, and the speculative are my passion, as I believe these genres can help us understand our own world in a safe setting removed from reality.

Comics
Black Dog of Bouley Bay
A 4-page comic inspired by the Black Dog of Bouley Bay, a dog from Jersey folklore that stalks Bouley Bay and warns people of storms.
The Promise
A redrawn comic from my retrospective collection. This story is about the bonds we develop and the reciprocal nature of friendship.
Even Androids Dream
My award winning entry for Manga Jiman 2020 on the theme of 'technology'. The comic follows the mundane life of an android who tries to escape this life through her dreams.
